How we survived the holidays (Part 1)

Hi friends!

Happy 2012! Wow I can’t believe it’s already January! Where did the last two months go?  I’ve always thought the holiday season was too busy for its own good, but this time it was ridiculous!  Half the time I wanted to scream and pull out my hair, and the rest of the time I felt like bursting with joy. Such is life with a baby. =)

Thanksgiving was wonderful because some of our family came to visit us. (Bless them!) Any time that you can avoid traveling with a baby, jump on it!!  My mom, dad, grandma, and Branden’s mom Debby came to visit us, and we cooked us a mean turkey! This was the first time for us to host Thanksgiving at our home and it was super simple! (Mainly because Mom and Debby did most of the work, haha!)

It was great to have family here, not to mention the extra babysitting!

Matthew enjoyed all of the extra attention too! This is Matthew with his GiGi.

Matthew with his Daddy and Grandpa

Matthew and his Grandma and Grandpa

Matthew was ready to chow down!  (Don’t worry we didn’t give him any turkey.)

Alright now that I’ve reached this point I realize that I’ve got a ton more to write about with lots more great pictures.  As I don’t particularly want to make everyone read an enormous blog post, let’s just call this the intermission. =)  Part 2 coming soon!

  1. 2011 was bitter sweet for me but one of the hugest highlights was when this precious baby boy was born. You three are a beautiful little family and I will always love you all the way up to heaven. Hear G-Ma Debby is living with or near you now. I am so so happy for that. There is no treasure bigger or brighter than being close to and sharing life everyday with your children & G-Children. “I know you will agree & it may be impossible to fathem but one day when that baby boy has a baby you will be bursting with joy unmeasurable.” Look forward to watching him grow and you two enjoying him here on F.B. I am so glad to have F.B. myself as it has opened up an enormous family & friend world for me that I have always dreamed I could be a part of. Love seeing even 3rd & 4th cousins having babies & sharing their lives. Love You Little Ramsey Family. God has been so gracious to gift me with you as a reward for my marriage to Uncle Ed. Glad you share my FAITH & know My God to be with you all the way. Hugs & Kisses to all of you. Aunt Deb.
