The Strawberry Tornadoes won last night! Final score was 5-2, I think. Yay! Branden did a great job; and I love being a soccer wife! Maybe I’ll get to be a soccer mom one day too.
My mom’s puppy, Rocky, had to go to the emergency room last night because he got in some ant poison. He was in critical condition last night, but thankfully he was much better this morning so he’ll just be at the vet all day today so they can monitor him. This is a great answer to prayer because Mom cares about that dog like one of her own children, and the rest of us are very fond of him too.
Please keep Rocky in your prayers over the next couple of days!
Branden and I still don’t have cable at our house. Comcast came once two weeks ago and stayed for four hours and couldn’t get it to work. Since then they were supposed to come on Sunday (didn’t show up), then on Monday (didn’t show up), and now they will apparently be coming this afternoon. If they don’t show up again then we will have words.
Three more days until we get our new fridge! I am so excited. I love that we could borrow this mini-fridge, but I am so ready to have more food around besides milk and juice and sandwich meat. And ICE!!! We will finally be able to have cold drinks at home!
Congrats to Shelley and David who are now hitched! We had a great time at their wedding last weekend. Everything was beautiful and we had a great time catching up with some HFBC friends. I don’t have my camera with me right now so I can’t post any pics, but maybe I’ll add a few later.
Also congrats to Abby and Nate who are now parents!! Baby Micah was born on July 16 and he is adorable. And Abby already started blogging again the very next day, so she must be doing fine!

Thank you, Elizabeth for praying and for asking for prayer for Rocky. He is very weak but is improving. We have felt the many prayers of believers and we really do appreciate them. Please pray for Rocky’s complete recovery.
