Happy Friday everyone! So I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything, but we just moved into our house last weekend, (yay!) and we still don’t have our computer set up. Pretty much nothing is set up yet. Most everything is hidden in a bunch of boxes. I can’t find half of my shoes. Or our dinner plates. Oh, and we don’t really have a fridge right now either. The Peeples were kind enough to let us borrow their mini-fridge, so that fits our milk and juice, but I’ve had to be very creative about making meals that don’t required chilled food. So far we’ve ordered pizza, eaten frito pie (fritos with canned chili on top!) and Progresso soup and toast. I thought about getting some spaghetti, too, but that’s all I’ve come up with so far. Anyone else have any suggestions?
Oh, and disclaimer: We HAVE bought a fridge, but Lowes had to order it so it’s not being delivered until NEXT Saturday! As in, a week from tomorrow. Eight days to go!
But all in all, living in a house is pretty amazing. I can’t believe all this room we have! There is a place to store everything, and I don’t have to climb over stuff anymore. And ohhh, I have a big jacuzzi bathtub! It’s heaven! And did I mention the counter space? I have room to cook finally! Oh, and THANK YOU Greg for helping us move stuff over in your nice big truck last weekend! That was a huge help! (And since I know Greg doesn’t read blogs, I really mean “Jana, please mention to your husband again how thankful we are for his help!)

Congratulations, Sweetie! Dad and I know you and Branden are going to be very happy in your new house. Moving is ALWAYS fun! ha ha We will be over soon with a few more boxes for you guys to unpack! (Cheese and crackers is always good…)

Easy Tortilla soup –
1 can ranch style beans
1 large can chicken and rice soup
1 can cream corn
1 large can (bigger than the tuna ones) CHICKEN of the sea
1 can rotel
No refrigerated items needed! Just put it all in a pot and cook for like 20 minutes on medium. We love it, esspecially with tortilla chips on the bottom.
I’m so excited for you guys. Yay for creative cooking!
